2055-2057 Danforth Ave. Rezoning Application Section 37 Monies

Sandra Bussin announces $100,000 will be dedicated to East Lynn Park from Section 37 monies received in relation to Woodbine Building Supplies redevelopment application. In addition, monies will be directed toward Stephenson and Moncur Parks. Community involvement is encouraged.

$750,000 for Glen Stewart Ravine Facelift in 2010-2011

In early 2007, the City of Toronto retained a team of consultants to investigate current conditions within the ravine and assess impacts of use on the health of trees and the stability of slopes that the trees depend upon for survival.

501 Queen Streetcar Route Improvements!

Short turning and the inconvenience to passengers on the Queen Street 501 Streetcar route has been a major problem for many years in our community. To improve service on the 501 Queen Streetcar service, I convinced the TTC to try different strategies that would reduce the number of short turns.

Graffiti Abatement Strategy

In May, City Council passed my motion requesting the Executive Director of Municipal Licensing and Standards, in consultation with the City Solicitor and the Toronto Police Service, to report to the Licensing and Standards Committee on an evaluation of the City's Graffiti Abatement Strategy.
